Spring holidays are the perfect time for a cleanse

I was so excited to tell you about the Warrior Cleanse LIVE in my last blog that I gave you the wrong start date! We will be starting on April 15, not April 8. Whoops! My apologies. April 8 is the date by which we’d like everyone to be signed up so that you can access the prep materials, order the cleansing support like protein powder for the smoothies and yummy morning lattes (I will be helping you with this), ask all of your pre-cleanse questions, and plan your menu for the first week. However, the doors will be open through Sunday, April 14.
What about the holidays?
Someone pointed out that the Easter and Passover holidays fall right in the middle of the Warrior Cleanse.
Believe me, I hear you. I’m hosting a big Easter dinner this year. In the past I would have been really stressed out about the food situation. This year, though, I’m super excited to serve yummy recipes from the cleanse! Veggies and hummus appetizer, roasted sweet potatoes, a delicious spring salad, and chocolate chia pudding “pie” with strawberries. (Sure, I won’t be partaking in the ham or wine this year, but that’s probably better for me anyway.)
The thing is, these holidays are supposed to be about LOVE, right? We can be so critical of ourselves, but it doesn’t serve you or me. It doesn’t serve your kids, and it doesn’t serve your parents.
It DOES serve you, your kids and your parents, however, when you are lavishing heaping amounts of love on yourself and on them by cleaning up your gut, rebalancing your hormones, and shedding the shame you have held onto for years.
And if they give you a hard time, thank them for their love and concern and tell them how much you love them. (Then come over to the Facebook group for support.)
